Founded on July 1, 2019, As It Is Ministries began with a singular calling: to create a space where the diverse community of Gastonia, NC, could come together to reflect the heart of God. What started as a vision for a new church has evolved into a vibrant multicultural movement built on spirit, truth, and authentic creative expression.

We believe church should be as dynamic as the people in it. Our mission is to move beyond mistakes and flaws, helping every believer step into their high calling. At As It Is, we aren’t just hosting services; we are fostering encounters that change lives.

Pastor Vincent "Vince" Ross

Lead Pastor

Pastor Vince is the visionary behind As It Is Ministries. Since the church's founding in 2019, he has been committed to fostering a multicultural community in Gastonia where people can encounter the "But God" moments of life. His leadership is defined by a passion for authentic worship and a mission to reflect the Kingdom of Heaven right here in our city.

LaKita "Lady" Ross

Worship Leader

Known for her heart for people and her passion for praise, Lady Ross serves as the Worship Leader for As It Is Ministries. Partnering in ministry with her husband, Pastor Vince, she is dedicated to creating a vibrant, creative atmosphere where everyone is free to experience the spirit of God through music and connection.
